Network Medicine provides an insightful introduction to the new frontier of medicine. As a layman, I readily admit that it was not a fast read for me. My goal was to understand the basics of genomic medicine so I can be a more informed board member of a venture philanthropy initiative, The Alpha-1 Project. This book added substantially to my knowledge base.
